Brian Doerksen’s songs (‘Come, Now Is The Time To Worship’ ‘Refiner’s Fire’ ‘Faithful One’) are sung in faith communities around the world. He has 3 JUNO album nominations (Canadian equivalent of a Grammy) in 2008, 2019 & 2020, winning it for ‘Holy God’ (Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the year) in 2008. He received the ‘International Award’ at the Gospel Music Association Dove Awards in Nashville in 2003 and in 2014 at the Covenant Awards he received a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ from the Gospel Music Association of Canada. In October 2024, the 30th anniversary edition of ‘Father’s House’ (his first solo album) was released, featuring bonus new recordings of ‘Father To Son’ and ‘There Must Be A Place.’ His latest singles include ‘Healed By Love’ and ‘Every Dream (God Who Sees)’ co-released with pop artist Marika Siewert. On Valentine’s Day 2025, ‘We’re Not Alone’ the first single from his upcoming love songs album ‘Love For A Lifetime’ came out, followed by ‘A Love That Doesn’t Fade’ in March, with the full album coming out in May 2025. His 6 adult children include 2 sons with special needs, and he lives with his wife Joyce (having just celebrated their 40th anniversary) and their family in Abbotsford, B.C. Canada.


Marika Siewert is an award-winning recording artist, songwriter, actor and director based in Vancouver BC.
As an artist and songwriter, she has songs published around the world with Top 10 songs on Pop and Christian music charts, and Marika has been the special guest artist on The “Come Now Is The Time To Worship Tour” in the USA, UK and Canada with her dear friend Juno award winning artist and songwriter Brian Doerksen. Marika current has radio singles playing across Canada like “Let the world sing” with Tehillah Worship, two songs recorded together with Brian – “Every Dream (God who Sees) and In Search Of (co-written with Adam Watts, Phil Wickham and Gannin Arnold.
As an actor she has appeared on tv shows for Netflix, Hallmark, Bravo, The CW and Apple TV+, and as a director was chosen to take part in a pilot program for the Directors Guild of Canada, and the Black Screen Office where she trained to direct films and bring awareness for continued support and opportunity for black female filmmakers in Canada.
Her goal is to continue to create encouraging and inspiring in film television and music, and currently Marika and Brian have completed their first feature length musical Christmas movie that is currently in development.
