Fourteen 6 Speakers

Charissa Torossian

Charissa Torossian serves as the Prayer Coordinator for the North New South Wales Conference. Charissa began preaching at 16 years of age in Sydney. After finished high school, she studied to be a secondary teacher of English and History. Her love for ministry took her to Avondale College where she completed her graduate studies in theology and ministry. Charissa worked for Adventist Media in their Discovery Bible School also. She married Justin in January 2019, and together they have an almost 2 year old son, Judah.

Sam Walters

Sam Walters is from Wolverhampton UK where he works as a specialist paediatric pharmacist in a local hospital. He currently serves the Wednesfield SDA Church as the first elder, is the Co-host of the ‘Faith on top podcast’ and sits on the British Union Conference executive committee. As a former Outreach coordinator for the PEACE Centre of Evangelism, he enjoys witnessing and teaching others to do the same. He has a passion to help Adventist young professionals live out their faith in the work place and to seek first the kingdom of God in all that they do. His desire is to be close to God and a blessing to others. In his spare time Sam enjoys connecting with friends, good food, travelling and listening to audiobooks.

Adam Ramdin

Adam Ramdin was born and raised in England in a Adventist home. He went to the USA to study at the age of 19 and later worked for several years as an evangelist with Amazing Facts. In 2007 he accepted a call to return to England where he has had the privilege of serving the church in a variety of capacities including Youth Director, Personal Ministries Director and PEACE evangelism school Director. He is presently the Executive Producer for the Lineage Journey, a ministry he co-founded five years ago. He is married to his beautiful wife, Aiko Ramdin and together they live near Nottingham in England with their son Enoch and daughter Eden. In their spare time they enjoy bike riding, kayaking, snowboarding and visiting historical sites of importance to the christian church.

Gayle Haberkam

Gayle is a retired nurse who works alone in the isolated mountainous jungles of Thailand. As a medical missionary Gayle ministers to the poor Karen people who have fled from Burma to escape the brutal torture of the Burmese soldiers over the past 65 years.  The Karen people live now much as they did 100 years ago in Burma. Many have never heard the name of Jesus. They worship the devil with sacrifices and ceremonies to appease evil spirits.   There are many witch doctors and sorcerers.  The work is slow and filled with danger; but Gayle is full of joy as she sees God change lives with His love and truth. She says: “Knowing that I am at the center of God’s will for my life, and seeing close up His miracle working power, is the most thrilling experience of my life! Eternity will reveal the results.”

Justin Torossian

Justin Torossian lives in Newcastle, Australia, with his wife, Charissa, and their son, Judah, where he serves as a local pastor. Originally from Northern California, he began full-time ministry after graduating from PUC in 2008 and later earned his MDiv from Andrews University. In 2018, God unexpectedly opened the door for him and Charissa to serve in the North New South Wales Conference, so with the clarity they’d been praying for, they planned both a wedding and Justin’s move across the Pacific.

A descendant of James and Ellen White, Justin is passionate about Adventist history and, above all, knowing Christ and making Him known. He looks forward to sharing God’s word in Fourteen6 this year!
